A ground-up redesign of a large mobile banking app, rebuilt from fragmented, multi-team screens into one consistent experience for everyday financial management.
The bank's mobile app had grown organically across several product teams over several years, resulting in inconsistent navigation, duplicated flows for similar tasks, and a design system that no longer matched the bank's other channels. Every new feature had to be reconciled against legacy screens on both iOS and Android, which slowed delivery and made it harder for a large, multi-squad engineering organisation to ship consistently.
UXsolutions ran a discovery phase across the app's core journeys, including login, transfers, card management and everyday account activity, before rebuilding them around a single, consistent design system. Our team worked directly with the bank's iOS and Android squads to implement the new journeys natively on each platform, integrating with the bank's existing core-banking APIs rather than replacing them. We also took on product management for the workstream: writing requirements, sequencing the roadmap, and running the cross-functional rituals that kept business, design and engineering aligned across a multi-team delivery structure.
The bank now runs a single, consistent mobile experience across both platforms, with a shared design system and a product structure built to support continued feature development rather than one-off redesigns.
