A working proof of concept for a fully connected restaurant, where the table, the kitchen and the till were designed as one system.
The brief wasn't to fix a single screen, it was to imagine what a restaurant could look like if every touchpoint, from the table to the kitchen to the till, was designed together instead of bolted on over time.
UXsolutions led the experience design for a proof-of-concept restaurant combining connected ordering interfaces at the table, automated kitchen coordination, and responsive service triggers that let staff react to what was happening in real time rather than working from static schedules. The project was built as a working showcase, on an approximate budget of €1 million, to demonstrate what a fully connected dining environment could look like in practice.
A working proof of concept that showed, in a real environment, how connected technology could reshape the dining experience end to end.
